Contract: Permanent Salary: £11.44 per hour

Working Hours: 37 hours per week: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM & Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Overtime is available and compensated at 1.5 times the standard rate for hours worked beyond 40.

Join our client's expanding team in the Llanelli area as an Automotive Recycling Technician. This position focuses on the secure and effective operation of equipment to manage waste automotive batteries, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and safety protocols. You will collaborate with skilled engineers to enhance your expertise and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and analysis of waste automotive Lithium-Ion batteries
  • Dismantling and discharging operations
  • Safe handling of battery processing machinery and tools
  • Receiving and storing battery shipments
  • Conducting daily compliance checks on batteries
  • Promptly reporting incidents

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Practical approach with a strong commitment to work
  • Attention to detail and effective prioritization skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Adherence to safety practices
  • Basic proficiency in computer use

Desirable Experience:

  • Knowledge of electrical systems
  • Experience in a technical environment
  • Forklift Operator Certification

Training Opportunities:
