About the Role

As a Behavioral Support Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching team to provide academic and vocational support to students aged 11-16. Your role will involve providing tailored support to students in their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students in their learning and development, focusing on their personal and educational goals.
  • Assist students with personal and educational goals, particularly those with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that values equality, diversity, and respect for all students.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure the best outcomes for students, focusing on their transition into adult life.
  • Participate in physical intervention and personal care routines as required.
