Empowering Learning is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a specialist school in the Nottinghamshire/Lincs Border area. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children during lessons and school activities to promote their learning and well-being
  • Work with staff and children during lunch and break times to maintain a positive and safe environment
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the individual needs of children with SEND
  • Provide daily care and support to children with complex needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to deliver 1:1 and small group activities that cater to the diverse needs of children
  • Collect and record evidence of children's work to inform their assessment and progress
  • Provide physical management and care to children with SEND, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
