Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage our mechanical and HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, design, budgeting, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of mechanical and HVAC projects from planning to completion.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project milestones and financial targets.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure that project specifications and requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address project issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Provide regular project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide project team members to facilitate their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project / Contracts Manager in the Mechanical HVAC industry with a background as a project engineer for 5+ years.
  • A mechanical background with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management within the mechanical and HVAC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC design, and construction processes.
  • Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and address any deviations from the project plan.
  • Review and approve project budgets and financial reports.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status.
  • Mentor and guide project team members to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
