Electro Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Fitter to join our team at ERIKS. As an Electro Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to a wide range of industrial equipment, including AC and DC motors, motorised gearboxes, pumps, and fan units.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment, including fault finding and rectification of defects and worn/damaged components.
- Have a basic electrical testing capability to assess the electrical condition of AC and DC components.
- Have sound mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty and worn/damaged components, and understand reclamation techniques and reverse engineering options.
- Pump experience, including hot oil and water, as well as basic hydraulic knowledge.
Our working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8am-4pm, and Friday, 8am-3pm. We offer 39 hours per week, with 45 minutes of breaks.
About YouWe are looking for a flexible and motivated individual who is able to work in a demanding and busy 24/7 service-oriented environment. You will be required to participate in a call-out rota and be willing to work on-site when required.
