The Blundellsands Surgery is a friendly and dynamic healthcare organization seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a GP Receptionist. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our clinical team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing a warm and welcoming experience for patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Managing patient appointments, bookings, and correspondence in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our practice, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including electronic patient records and practice management systems.
