Job Summary:

Apcoa Parking is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team. As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a critical role in enforcing local laws and regulations to protect the environment and public health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce laws and regulations related to environmental protection, including littering, fly tipping, and dog fouling.
  • Conduct patrols of designated areas to identify and address environmental breaches.
  • Issue fixed penalty notices and warnings to individuals and businesses in breach of environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and submit cases for trial and assist in presenting evidence in court.
  • Record witness statements and conduct interviews under caution as required.
  • Validate and verify personal details of offenders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, police, and other agencies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in enforcement work, including security work, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of green services, such as cleansing and waste collection, is desired.
  • Ability to adapt and engage with diverse audiences and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards work.
  • A full clean driving license is required.
