About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our flagship Used Car Dealership in the Leeds area. As a Head of Business, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of sales executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Motivate the Sales Team: Unleash the potential of the sales team by setting stretching objectives and providing regular feedback on performance against these objectives.
  • Resource the Sales Team: Ensure that the sales team is adequately resourced on a day-to-day and longer-term basis.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that compliance is enforced and that it meets all the obligations relating to the customer experience.
  • Day-to-Day Sales Activities: Manage the day-to-day sales activities such as deal files, handovers, sales funnel to maximise sales revenue.
  • Aftersales/Service Function: Supervise and organise the aftersales/service function on site.

Requirements:

  • Proven Track Record in Sales: A proven track record in sales within the automotive industry.
  • Strong Used Car Background: A strong used car background, ideally from a used car supermarket.
  • Leadership Skills: The ability to lead by example, manage and inspire the team to deliver an incredible performance.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer focus.
  • Computer Literacy: Great computer literacy.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivation.

Working Pattern:

The working pattern will cover a mixture of weekends and weekdays, mainly long days of 4 or 5 days per week, rota dependent. The dealership is open until 10pm so the shiftswill be long but highly profitable.

What We Offer:

An extended in-house training period will be required initially - this will mean travel to the other parts of the business to absorb the company culture and processes, accommodation, mileage etc. to be expensed by the company.
