Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Building Assistant to join our Facilities team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our event planning software, coordinating with our Front of House, Hospitality and Events team, and setting up and preparing rooms for events.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor event planning software to stay informed about upcoming events
  • Liaise with Front of House, Hospitality and Events team to ensure seamless communication
  • Attend regular meetings to discuss event planning and lessons learned
  • Set up and prepare rooms for events, including configuring furniture and equipment
  • Contact event organizers to confirm details and expectations
  • Provide flexibility for last-minute changes and modifications
  • Assist with event-related deliveries and other tasks as required
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a keen eye for detail and be able to multitask effectively.

Please note that this is a fixed-term contract, and the successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the role.
