Job Summary

Detail 2 Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Fabric Engineer to join our client's team in Edinburgh. As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of plant maintenance to a planned schedule, seeking solutions where abnormalities occur.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production equipment
  • Liaise with the team to address breakdowns or interruptions to production and deal promptly with any issues
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing current methodology and opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, quality, and performance

Requirements

  • HNC/ONC/Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical and be at minimum 17th Edition certified
  • Engineering experience within FMCG preferred
  • Extensive experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Competent in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, with a 60:40 split in either discipline
  • Excellent understanding of working with strict safety and quality control procedures and KPIs
  • Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate good experience of implementing both short-term and long-term solutions and projects in an engineering function covering both electrical and mechanical equipment
