We are seeking an exceptional Director of Public Health to join our team at Birmingham City Council. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of health and well-being in our city.

About the Role

As Director of Public Health, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to address health inequalities and improve the lives of our residents. You will work closely with our teams and communities to motivate and unite them around a shared vision for a healthier and more prosperous city.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to address health inequalities and promote health and well-being
  • Lead and motivate teams to achieve our health and well-being goals
  • Collaborate with communities and stakeholders to build partnerships and drive change
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our health and well-being initiatives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced and successful Director of Public Health with a strong track record of delivering results. You will also need to be an inspiring leader who can motivate and unite teams and communities around a shared vision.
