Asset Management Director

As the Executive Director of Place, Prosperity, and Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the city's vision and ensuring its resilience, sustainability, and economic productivity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting clear, measurable priorities to enhance the city's economic productivity, sustainability, and resilience. This includes leading the development of growth and community-related strategies, engaging with external partners and stakeholders, and ensuring that the city's priorities are effectively communicated and supported at all levels.
The role also involves overseeing the Council's response to the climate emergency, leading efforts to reduce carbon emissions, and promoting the city as a digital and innovative hub. To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in executive-level management within a large organization, experience in local economic development, property and asset management, and strategic contract management.
