Employment and Skills Trainer Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment and Skills Trainer to join our team at Reed in Partnership. As an integral part of our employability programmes, you will play a crucial role in improving the opportunities of adult job-seekers by coaching, training, and upskilling them to achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to prepare and equip learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their careers.
  • Assess and evaluate learner progress, providing constructive feedback and performance guidance to ensure they meet their goals.
  • Maintain a professional and engaging training environment, ensuring effective classroom management and a positive learner experience.
  • Promote our courses to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting the benefits and value of our employability programmes.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the welfare-to-work sector or a similar relevant field, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by adult job-seekers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • A recognised teaching qualification, such as PTTLS or PGCE, and a minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification) or achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
