We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to play a key role with our production team.

Job Description:

Position Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to work with our global production operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coordinating various production facilities worldwide, a willingness to travel internationally to address production issues, and significant technical knowledge of sustainable outdoors products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Coordination:

    • Manage and oversee production processes across multiple facilities worldwide.

    • Ensure production schedules are met, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

    • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to optimise production workflows.

    • Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure all products meet our high standards.

    • Promptly address and resolve any production issues to minimize disruptions.

  • Technical & Sustainability Expertise

    • Utilise in-depth knowledge of textile products to inform production decisions and drive innovation.

    • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in textile technology.

    • Uphold our commitment to environmentally friendly practices throughout the production process.

    • Identify and implement sustainable production methods to reduce our environmental footprint.

  • Travel and On-Site Management:

    • Travel internationally to oversee production facilities, conduct inspections, and troubleshoot issues on-site.

  • Production Capacity Planning & Forecasting:

    • Plan and manage production capacity to meet current and future demand.

    • Analyse production data to make informed decisions about capacity requirements.

    • Collaborate with the sales, trade and marketing teams to develop accurate production forecasts.

    • Use forecasting data to guide production planning and inventory management.

  • Cost Breakdown Analysis:

    • Conduct detailed cost breakdown analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities.

    • Monitor and control production costs to maximise profitability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production role in the textile or outdoor-wear industry.

  • Strong technical knowledge of textile products and production processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage production facilities across multiple locations.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Experience with production capacity planning, production forecasting, and cost breakdown analysis.

  • Commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly production practices.
