About the Role

We are seeking a talented Junior Delivery Manager to join our team at PA Consulting. As a key member of our Major Programme Services team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients to deliver complex projects and services.

As a Junior Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for setting up teams for success, supporting them in problem-solving and planning, and enabling them to come up with their own insights within complex constraints. You will be fully client-facing, harnessing metrics to help the team improve its throughput and inform clients and stakeholders about delivery progress.

With a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills, you will be able to present complex information to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. You will also have the ability to identify and solve problems, and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients in delivering complex projects and services
  • Set up teams for success and support them in problem-solving and planning
  • Harness metrics to improve team throughput and inform clients and stakeholders
  • Present complex information to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Identify and solve problems, and make informed decisions
Requirements
  • Experience and knowledge of estimating, scoping, and delivering products, services, and outcomes using various delivery techniques and methods
  • Experience of working in technical/engineering projects using Agile Delivery methods
  • Experience or certification in project management or project controls methodologies (PMQ, Prince2, etc.) is desirable
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems, and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
