The Role

As a Deputy Care Manager, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day operations, stepping in during their absence, and overseeing the direct supervision and line management of staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the highest standards of care and promoting independence and choice for our residents
  • Building positive relationships with all stakeholders, including residents, families, and colleagues
  • Providing leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Key Skills and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Level 3 or higher in Health & Social Care
  • Experience in social care, with a focus on leadership and management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
