About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Client Solicitor to join our esteemed firm in the East Midlands. As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a varied and complex caseload, providing expert advice on wills, probate, estate planning, trusts, and tax issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Private Client Matters: Handle a diverse range of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration, and trusts.
  • Tax Planning and Mitigation: Advise clients on tax planning and mitigation strategies to minimize their tax liabilities.
  • Document Drafting and Review: Draft and review legal documents with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • High-Value Estates: Manage high-value and complex estates with sensitivity and professionalism, ensuring that clients' interests are protected.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored legal solutions.
  • Business Development: Contribute to the firm's business development activities, identifying new opportunities and developing strategies to grow the business.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-10 years PQE in private client law, with a strong technical knowledge and experience in handling complex estates.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
  • Personal Qualities: A commitment to providing outstanding client service, with a willingness to relocate if applicable.
