- Annual Salary: £40,000
- Bonus: £1000 upon completion of 12 months of service
- Full-time: Fixed shift pattern of 4 shifts on, 4 days off, including 2-day shifts from 06:45 to 19:00 and 2-night shifts from 18:45 to 07:00. A rolling rota is available for 2 years in advance.
- Part-time: Fixed shift working with a schedule of 2 day shifts followed by 8 days off, and 2 night shifts followed by 4 days off. Rolling rota available for 2 years in advance.
- Estimated average overtime: £3500 per year
- NMC/HCPC Registration fees covered
Key Responsibilities
In partnership with law enforcement, you will provide essential healthcare services within custody suites. Our commitment is to ensure the well-being of detainees through continuous healthcare support, adhering to a schedule agreed upon with our client.
As a qualified nurse or paramedic, you will have the opportunity to work within the criminal justice sector, supporting some of the most vulnerable members of society. We prioritize the right to healthcare for all, placing the health and welfare of individuals at the forefront of our care approach. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding care, take pride in being part of a collaborative team, and are eager to enhance their clinical, forensic, and broader skill sets.
No prior forensic experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
This role requires flexibility to work not only in your designated custody suite but also across various police custody suites within the assigned region.

Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN, RGN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN with dual registration) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience at Band 5.
- Paramedic with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a patient-facing role within relevant fields such as General Practice, A&E, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Services.
- Valid Driving License.
- Eligibility to work in the UK, with residency requirements met.
- All candidates will undergo Police Vetting.
