Job Summary

Care & Custody - A Mitie Company is seeking a skilled Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic to join our team. As a dynamic and innovative pathway, we offer opportunities for progression and extensive training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites, collaborating with the Police to ensure the safety of detainees.
  • Work in a team rota pattern, providing fixed shift working with opportunities for overtime.
  • Participate in a rolling rota, available 2 years in advance, to ensure seamless coverage.
  • Provide exemplary care to detainees, taking pride in being part of a team that shares a vision for delivering high-quality healthcare.
  • Develop clinical, forensic, and broader skills, with opportunities for career progression.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Registered General Nurse (RGN), or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with dual registration, minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Paramedic with 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field, such as General Practice, A & E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service.
  • Driving Licence required.
  • Must have Right to Work in the UK, lived in the UK, British Passport, or ILR for 3 years, with no gaps out of country more than 3 months.
  • All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting.
