Job Title: Environmental Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team in the North East and Scotland. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in contaminated land, investigation, reclamation, and remediation. The role will involve project management, technical leadership, and liaison with clients, stakeholders, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project management and technical leadership of contaminated land focused projects, including financial management, programme delivery, and technical review.
  • Lead on work-winning, client development, and proposal preparation for multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, sub-contractors, and internal disciplines.
  • Compliance with Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, including health and safety planning and management.
  • Developing own competence and maintaining CPD necessary to fulfill the role's responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of project management of contaminated land / brownfield projects, including managing project teams and delivering to high standards.
  • Experience of winning work, including commercial awareness and understanding.
  • A relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Flexible and prepared to take on new challenges.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel throughout the UK.
