About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Outreach Specialist to join our dedicated team at Archer Resourcing LTD. This role involves providing support and guidance to individuals experiencing substance misuse issues, helping them on their path to recovery and integration into the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support and Guidance: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, offering empathetic and non-judgmental support to help them achieve their recovery goals.
  • Initial Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges, and develop individualized recovery plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Service Coordination: Facilitate access to appropriate services and resources, such as healthcare, housing, and employment support, to help clients achieve stability and independence.
  • Outreach and Engagement: Conduct regular outreach activities to identify and engage with individuals in need of support, and advocate for clients' rights and needs within various systems.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes, and prepare reports and case studies as required to contribute to service evaluation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience working in a similar role, particularly with individuals experiencing substance misuse issues.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of recovery principles and harm reduction strategies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Education and Certifications: Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months, or willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if not currently held.
