Youth Substance Misuse Social Worker

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to become a vital part of a dedicated Young Persons Substance Misuse Team.
Essential Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in the UK as a Social Worker.
Team Dynamics:
This role involves working closely with young women aged 16-25 who are facing challenges related to substance misuse, particularly those at risk of losing custody of their children. The team collaborates with a specialized charity focused on these sensitive cases.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in Children Services. Experience in areas such as Adolescent Services, Leaving Care, Child Protection, and Children in Need Teams will be advantageous. A recognized degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is required.
