About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Geotechnical Specialist to join our team at Hydrock. As a key member of our geotechnical and geo-environmental consulting team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of services including site investigations, report writing, and risk assessment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geology, civil engineering, or environmental science, with experience in geotechnical and geo-environmental consulting. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage site investigations, including on-site supervision, logging, and sampling
  • Write factual and interpretative reports, and conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments
  • Work as part of integrated project teams, collaborating with geo-environmental and geotechnical specialists, and related disciplines
  • Supervise and manage geo-environmental assignments, including monitoring gas and groundwater levels and sampling
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and clients to deliver projects
  • Write technical reports, including desk studies and ground investigation reports
