Geo-Environmental Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team at Hydrock, a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy. As a Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering geo-environmental and geotechnical services, including site investigations, report writing, and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage site investigations, including on-site supervision, logging, and sampling.
  • Write factual and interpretative reports, and conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments.
  • Work as part of integrated project teams, collaborating with geo-environmental and geotechnical specialists, and related disciplines.
  • Supervise, report, and manage geo-environmental assignments, and monitor gas and groundwater levels.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and clients to deliver projects.
  • Write technical reports, including Desk Studies and Ground Investigation Reports.
Requirements:
  • BSc, BEng, or higher qualification in a relevant subject, such as geology, civil engineering, or environmental science.
  • Experience working for a contractor and/or geotechnical experience is highly desirable.
  • Full UK driving license.
