PIDG is dedicated to advancing gender equality and inclusion, ensuring that infrastructure initiatives positively impact women and girls by addressing the specific challenges they encounter. Their mission is to empower communities by promoting equitable access to resources and infrastructure benefits.
As the Senior Gender Lens Investment Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving PIDG's gender equality initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Sustainable Impact Officer, you will offer innovative insights on gender, diversity, and inclusion in investment choices, portfolio oversight, and sector strategies. Additionally, you will lead PIDG's efforts to mitigate gender-based violence and harassment (GBVH) and improve disability inclusion within their investment portfolio.
Your responsibilities will encompass transforming gender equality evaluations and assessments for investments, integrating comprehensive gender data into monitoring frameworks, developing impactful outcome metrics, conducting thorough portfolio analyses, and collaborating on pioneering technical assistance and market engagement strategies. You will also spearhead PIDG's internal initiatives focused on gender equality and inclusion.
PIDG's comprehensive strategy includes specific investment goals, group performance indicators, and a strong emphasis on managing gender-related risks and opportunities. PIDG actively participates in the 2X Global community and the climate and gender community of practice, supported by a dedicated Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (GEDI) task force and an annual action plan.
