Position Overview

Agent Provocateur, a distinguished British brand specializing in lingerie, nightwear, and accessories, is seeking a Production Operations Specialist to join our dedicated Production team. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the seamless management of the production process.

The Production Operations Specialist will assist the Production Manager in overseeing the entire production cycle, from the initial order placement to the final delivery to our distribution centers, guaranteeing timely arrival of all product lines.

Key Responsibilities

Critical Path Management
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to address all production-related challenges, offering proactive solutions.
  • Engage in weekly cross-departmental meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Ensure timely approval of packing lists and invoices, maintaining accuracy, and coordinate with the Logistics team for prompt stock collection.
  • Communicate effectively with the warehouse regarding any discrepancies or defective stock.
  • Oversee label production in accordance with the established Critical Path.
Purchase Order Management
  • Verify that data on style item cards is accurate and complete, updating any missing information prior to shipment.
  • Assist in generating new Purchase Orders in the Business Central system, ensuring correct cost, quantity, and delivery details.
  • Work in tandem with the Production Manager and Finance team to facilitate timely payments for deposits and bulk shipments.
  • Help in publishing the weekly delivery schedule and launch calendar for the Production Manager.
  • Issue price adjustments and amendments to Purchase Orders as agreed, ensuring timely communication.
Administrative Support
  • Provide general administrative support to the team.
  • Assist in organizing meetings and coordinating schedules.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Production Coordinator role or a similar capacity.
  • Prior experience in the Luxury Retail sector is essential.
  • A methodical, precise, and logical approach to work with a strong focus on detail.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel.
  • Able to engage with all levels of the organization, fostering effective communication.
  • Proactive, confident, and possessing strong organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
