Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outreach services to young people in various settings, including schools, colleges, and community venues.
  • Raise awareness about substance misuse services and provide advice and support to young people.
  • Work collaboratively with local organizations and stakeholders to engage 'hard-to-reach' young people.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, youth services, and community groups.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of outreach strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in substance misuse, youth work, psychology, counseling, mental health, or social care.
  • Ability to work with at-risk and vulnerable young people in a community setting.
  • Experience in delivering group work and training sessions.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children, confidentiality, consent, and mental capacity.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and locations.
