Position Overview

We are thrilled to present an opportunity to join our dedicated team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, specifically within the Children's and Young Persons Unit in the Emergency Department, as a Band 6 Registered Children's Nurse.

Main Responsibilities

As a competent clinical practitioner, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering direct patient care while coordinating and overseeing clinical activities.
  • Ensuring the effective and efficient use of resources to provide optimal quality care.
  • Acting as a deputy for the ward/department manager in their absence, promoting evidence-based practices.
  • Supervising staff and adhering to the policies and practices within your clinical area.
  • Working flexibly to meet the evolving needs of the service.

Essential Qualifications

  • NMC RCN Registration
  • 18 months of post-registration experience
  • Manchester triage training
