Position Overview

We are seeking to appoint *High Intensity Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practitioners to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. This role involves providing Step 3 High Intensity interventions for individuals experiencing depression and anxiety disorders. We offer a combination of remote and in-person work, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. Our organization is committed to professional development, providing access to a tailored training program alongside in-house training to meet your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) needs. Regular clinical supervision and one-on-one support from your line manager will be integral to your role.

This position is also open to trainees who are on the verge of completing their High Intensity Post Graduate CBT Diploma.

Additionally, we provide a one-time relocation allowance for successful candidates, subject to eligibility criteria.

Key Responsibilities

You will conduct mental health evaluations and implement high intensity CBT interventions at step 3, as well as facilitate group therapy sessions for patients facing common mental health challenges.

Qualifications Required

Essential Criteria

  • Post Graduate Diploma in CBT - High Intensity
  • CBT Post Graduate Diploma
  • Full accreditation with BABCP, or application submitted/working towards submission.
  • Experience in managing a caseload within a primary care mental health environment
  • HCPC registration or proof of application
