About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education to our children, ensuring their developmental needs are met and their safety is maintained.

As a Child Care Specialist, you will work closely with our room leader and Early Childhood Specialists to drive continuous improvement and embed inspirational early years pedagogy of the highest standard. You will be responsible for supporting the observation and assessment standards in line with regulatory requirements and our Bright Beginnings, Bright Horizons curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Support the observation and assessment standards in line with regulatory requirements and our Bright Beginnings, Bright Horizons curriculum.
  • Work closely with the room leader and Early Childhood Specialists to drive continuous improvement and embed inspirational early years pedagogy.
  • Ensure internal policies and procedures are adhered to and demonstrate knowledge through high standards of practice.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including parents, professionals, and colleagues.
  • Support the completion of accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of development of the child.
  • Provide support for colleagues within the nursery and across the broader business when required.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Full and relevant level 3 or above childcare qualification.
  • Food Hygiene or equivalent training and compliance in food management.
  • Relevant safeguarding/child protection training undertaken and a willingness to update training regularly.
