ROLE SUMMARY

Stephen James (Automotive) Ltd is seeking a skilled Alloy Wheel Repair Technician to join our team in a busy and experienced refurbishment environment. This state-of-the-art facility offers a great opportunity for a detailed and driven individual to develop a career in this exciting specialist enterprise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Repair scratches, scuffs, and dents on alloy wheels of all makes and models, using cutting-edge equipment and techniques.
  • Spray paint and powder-coat all makes and models of alloys, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Refurbish alloy wheels through aqua blasting, sand blasting, chemical paint stripping, labeling, and alloy identification.
  • Work efficiently within agreed workshop timeframes, maintaining a high standard of quality.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience as a SMART/Alloy Repair Technician or in a similar Bodyshop environment, with powder-coating and diamond-cut alloy repair experience.
  • Ability to work to a high standard, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Physical and manual dexterity to undertake detailed repair work.
  • A valid, clean UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

Basic salary: £27,500, OTE: £32,300 per annum. Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
