Account Manager Opportunity

Atomic Recruitment is partnering with a leading independent firm in London's West End to find an experienced Account Manager or Assistant Manager to join their team.

About the Role
  • Manage a portfolio of 20+ clients across the media and entertainment industry, including music artists, artist management companies, and charities.
  • Oversee day-to-day business management and accountancy for client portfolios, including financial and personal affairs, tour scheduling, and international withholding tax mitigation.
  • Implement VAT mitigation strategies and recover foreign VAT.
  • Review royalty accounting, prepare royalty analyses, and provide financial information, including variance analysis and net asset statements.
  • Manage US quarterly tax and management account reporting, and liaise with overseas conglomerates.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts & Tax Department to prepare year-end accounts and tax returns.
  • Perform business administration tasks, such as managing bank accounts and processing payments.
  • Represent the firm at music industry events.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice firm.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or Twinfield.
  • Previous experience with media clients is desirable.
