Administrative Support Opportunity in a Dynamic Imaging Department

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our Imaging Department. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our Consultant Radiologists and Imaging Management Team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information
  • Participate in staff appraisal process
  • Organize departmental meetings and update databases
  • Respond to enquiries and correspondence
  • Manage electronic diaries and appointments
  • Produce documents using various software programs
  • Set up and maintain personnel records
  • Arrange meetings and communicate with appropriate personnel
  • Support and train new team members
  • Attend and produce minutes for team meetings
  • Update departmental databases and documentation
  • Perform general clerical duties within the department

Requirements:

Essential

  • GCSE Grade A-C (8-4)
  • RSA III keyboard skills or equivalent
  • Experience in secretarial role, team work, and communication
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure

Desirable

ECDL certificationWorking knowledge of Trac Recruitment System and Unit 4
