Curtis Furniture, a leader in the bespoke furniture manufacturing sector for the UK Hospitality Industry, has been a trusted name for over 25 years. We specialize in creating and installing custom furniture for prestigious hotel brands.


Role Overview:

We are seeking a driven and proactive Sales Account Manager to enhance our sales team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, results-oriented, and dedicated to fostering long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts for hotel groups and established clientele to optimize future sales opportunities.
  • Secure orders for supplying furniture to notable hotel projects across the UK.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with both existing and prospective clients, including international hotel chains, main contractors, designers, hotel proprietors, and project management firms.
  • Provide regular updates on account progress to management.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current market trends.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential and current clients.
  • Follow up on leads generated through various channels.
  • Identify and acquire new trade business accounts.
  • Research organizations and connect with the appropriate contacts.
  • Prepare quotes and secure orders for hotel bedroom furniture.
  • Engage in phone outreach to establish connections with potential clients.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A motivated and ambitious self-starter.
  • Strong determination and drive to pursue new business and exceed sales targets.
  • Willingness to learn about the hotel furniture sector.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license and readiness to travel across the UK.
  • Experience in furniture sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional telephone manner.
  • Proficient computer skills, with experience in Excel and CRM software preferred.
