In this pivotal role, you will manage commercial and corporate insurance portfolios for esteemed clients, addressing their diverse insurance requirements. Your responsibilities will encompass both existing accounts and new business opportunities.
The role necessitates comprehensive management of client accounts throughout the renewal lifecycle, which includes renewal processing, crafting presentations for insurers, negotiating terms with underwriters, and preparing detailed reports and documentation. A solid background as an Account Executive in commercial insurance is essential, along with demonstrated skills in customer service, negotiation, and market insight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and broker New Business, Mid-term Adjustments, and Renewals, ensuring high-quality submissions to the market.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Directors to meet New Business and Renewal objectives through proactive support and administration.
- Assist Account Executives and Directors in managing their prospect pipelines, conducting thorough research on potential clients.
- Stay informed about current New Business appointments and conduct pre-visit research, utilizing various resources to gather relevant information.
- Prepare comprehensive Renewal Review reports and obtain necessary claims experience as required.
- Handle incoming inquiries from clients and insurers professionally and efficiently, involving relevant team members when necessary.
- Maintain an organized diary system for tracking accounts, documentation, and renewal terms.
- Engage with insurers and third parties to facilitate the administration of clients' insurance needs.
- Provide high-level administrative support to colleagues as directed by the Commercial Administration Team leader.

Your Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, either in broking or underwriting.
- Proficient in managing new business inquiries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments across various insurance products.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance markets, products, and policy wordings.
- Familiarity with Acturis insurance broking software is advantageous.
