Position Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Childcare Facility Supervisor eager to contribute to a nurturing environment. Your role as a hands-on Supervisor will involve a commitment to upholding the facility's high standards and driving advancements in practice, ensuring the highest quality of care and education.


Key Responsibilities

As the Childcare Facility Supervisor, you will oversee the operational management of the facility. You will be a proactive leader, capable of harnessing the skills and experience of your dedicated team within a distinctive educational framework.


You will foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for all team members, focusing on motivating and guiding them to provide outstanding services to families utilizing the facility.

You should possess a proven history of achieving favorable OFSTED evaluations under your management.


Your responsibilities will encompass the HR functions of the facility, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing leadership and management, which includes supervision, training, development, and performance evaluation.

You will receive support from a knowledgeable Head Office team, including an Area Manager, Early Years Support Team, Marketing Head, Financial Accounts Manager, and IT Department, providing you with the necessary tools and environment to thrive.


Financial Management

The Childcare Facility Supervisor will be fully accountable for the facility's financial management, and you will need to demonstrate the expertise to manage the budget effectively to ensure profitability and growth.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you should possess:
  • NNEB, CACHE Level 3, or NVQ Level 3 qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Understanding of OFSTED standards
  • Thorough knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet targets and deadlines
  • Effective time management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Robust people management capabilities
  • Awareness of equal opportunities and special educational needs
  • Relevant supervisory experience
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to plan for and manage the commercial success of the facility
