About the Role:

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their newly created payroll team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll data, including P45s, P46 forms, and bank details
  • Prepare salary deductions, including NI, SSP, SMP, salary sacrifice, and attachment of earnings
  • Assist managers with payroll queries and produce payroll reports
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with payroll legislation and regulations

Requirements:

  • Experience in processing payroll and knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Highly organized and confident individual with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of circa £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience, flexible hybrid working, and an excellent benefits package.
