The Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for managing and processing multiple payrolls, including onboarding and processing using Brightpay payroll software.

  • Process starters and leavers, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Calculate statutory payments, including SMP, SPP, and SSP.
  • Manage CIS payments and deductions, as well as pension contributions to various workplace schemes.
  • Process employment allowance and Director-only payroll management.
  • Submit HMRC returns for FPS and EPS, including recoverable amounts.
  • Understand and adhere to Money Laundering, GDPR, and Compliance policies and standards.
  • Manage admin tasks to maintain good housekeeping of franchisees and their clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation and changes that affect payrolls.
  • Provide cover for colleagues during holiday and other leave.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience in payroll administration, with a minimum of 2 years experience.
  • Experience and proficiency in payroll management software – we use Brightpay.
  • The ability to maintain a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confidence to build a rapport with our franchisees and their clients using excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
