Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to ensure the efficient operation of our finance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable:
- Process supplier invoices, perform data entry and coding of invoices into the accounting system (Sage 200) ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Verify and reconcile invoices to purchase orders
- Prepare and issue payments to suppliers on a timely basis.
- Email remittances to suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers/staff to resolve queries
- Sales Ledger:
- Assist in preparation of sales invoices
- Monitor and follow up outstanding balances
- Expense Management:
- Review and process expense claims, verify supporting documentation ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Issue payments & remittances
- Other:
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements
- Intercompany recharges
- Bank Reconciliations
- Assist with various ad hoc tasks as necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a finance-related role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £22-26k, depending on experience

- A part-time schedule of 16 hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday working days
