About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students in year 5. The successful candidate will work in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school from October.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in year 5 with their academic and personal development
- Work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality education
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students
- Provide individualized support to students who require additional help
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
Requirements:
- Recent and relevant Teaching Assistant experience in an early year setting
- Excellent numeracy/literacy skills, GCSE level
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
