Job Title: Deputy Surgical Ward Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Surgical Ward Manager to join our team at Priory Hospital North London. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a key role in the management of our NHS Acute Adult Ward, working closely with the Ward Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Ward Manager in the day-to-day management of the ward
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Lead and motivate a team of nurses and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of the ward's quality improvement plan
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • RMN qualification
  • Mentorship qualification (desirable)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience working in inpatient mental health settings
  • Experience in completing audits and quality improvement projects
