About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our esteemed client, a well-established and growing injection moulding company based in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and maintaining high standards of production quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to minimise downtime.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory management.
  • Work on a rotating 3 shift pattern to ensure continuous production support.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an injection moulding environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
  • Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND, or apprenticeship) in a related field.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating 3 shift pattern.
