We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our colleagues, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, and contributing to the development of our technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support
    • Provide timely and effective technical support to colleagues, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring minimal downtime.
    • Collaborate with the technical team to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Network Infrastructure
    • Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
    • Ensure the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.
  • Software Management
    • Install, configure, and maintain software applications, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
    • Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
    • Provide regular reports on technical performance and system status.

Requirements

  • Education
    • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
    • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
  • Skills
    • Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems.
    • Familiarity with Active Directory, group policies, and user account management.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
