Page Personnel is supporting a leading FMCG organization in Bingley, seeking a highly skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Support the preparation of management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
- Contribute to variance analysis and ownership of the ledger, including costings and sales margin analysis.
- Prepare management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, VAT returns, P&L, and fixed assets.
- Develop and maintain accurate and reliable financial data, ensuring timely and effective decision-making.
- Collaborate with the finance team to achieve financial objectives and goals.
- Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Be flexible and willing to contribute to ad-hoc work when needed.
- Have a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and be proficient in its use.
- Commit to 5 days on-site per week.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and be able to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, preferably studying or AAT Level 4, and be open to ACCA/CIMA self-study. They will also have experience in preparing management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, VAT returns, P&L, and fixed assets.
