Page Personnel is supporting a leading FMCG organisation in Bingley, seeking a permanent Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team.
About the RoleAs Assistant Management Accountant, you will report to the Managing Director and Financial Controller, supporting the preparation of management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
You will contribute to variance analysis and ownership of the ledger, including costings and sales margin analysis. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals.
- Conducting variance analysis and owning the ledger, including costings and sales margin analysis.
- Supporting the Financial Controller with financial reporting and analysis.
- Developing and maintaining financial models and reports.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to the management team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in preparing management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- AAT Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
