Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer - Energy Transition Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our New Build segment, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of structural engineering efforts on major energy projects, including offshore wind and oil & gas developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the performance of structural engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project execution models, schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements.
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, completions, operations, and third parties to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project schedules and manhour budgets, identifying and mitigating potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement structural engineering philosophies, methodologies, and standards.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, reports, and design input for project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and delivery.
Requirements
  • University degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or relevant education.
  • Minimum 15 years of post-graduate experience in front-end, FEED, and/or EPC projects.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the offshore oil & gas/renewable energy sector.
  • Track record of leading structural engineering teams on major projects.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as STAADPro and SESAM.
  • Knowledge of design software, including E3D, Navisworks, and Autocad.
  • Experience in offshore HVDC topsides/wind projects is beneficial.
