Principal Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a leader in design and engineering, our client is a renowned design consultancy based in London or Surrey, working on prestigious and innovative projects in the UK and across the world.

About the Role

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our Director to manage technical and project delivery elements, and have a good working knowledge of UK mechanical building services design, including relevant standards, codes, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in delivering projects from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction support phases
  • Manage the technical, cost, and programme elements of project delivery
  • Represent our client to other clients and understand and deliver client needs in engineering solutions
  • Have a good working knowledge of UK mechanical building services design, including relevant standards, codes, and regulations
