Principal Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Advanced Resource Managers Ltd. As a key member of our engineering consultancy firm, you will be responsible for leading mechanical design engineering projects and providing technical expertise in building services engineering.

About the Role:

  • Lead mechanical design engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive mechanical designs, specifications, and documentation for building services projects.
  • Conduct MEP building services surveys, perform calculations, and apply mechanical theory to ensure accurate and efficient designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to junior engineers and project managers on mechanical services and building services engineering.
  • Prepare fee proposals, deliver refurbishment and upgrade projects, and conduct condition surveys to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Extensive technical expertise in mechanical design engineering and building services engineering.
  • Proficient in applying standards and codes relevant to building services.
  • Ability to conduct MEP building services surveys independently and perform calculations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in managing parallel projects.
  • Competent in performing essential calculations and applying mechanical theory.
