Job Title: Principal Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman UK. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of mechanical designs and conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Thermal Analysis (CFD).

About the Role:
  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components.
  • Conduct FEA and CFD analysis to ensure mechanical integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements and is delivered on time.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support design and development activities.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a defence or aerospace industry.
  • Engineering degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
