Job Title: IPC Hub Lead

We are seeking an experienced IPC Hub Lead to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety across our hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement IPC strategies to minimize the risk of infection and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with hospital teams to provide education and training on IPC best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and surveillance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the DIPC to develop and deliver the IPC annual program and strategy.
  • Participate in hospital environmental refurbishment and development, ensuring IPC compliance and sign-off.
  • Attend hospital IPC committee meetings and provide expert advice on IPC matters.
  • Support clinical teams with post-infection reviews and monitoring of infections.
  • Develop strong working relationships with hospital DIPC's and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Registered healthcare professional with a strong background in IPC.
  • Proven experience in working at a senior level within IPC.
  • Educated to at least degree level post-registration qualification in IPC or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel across the hub and work independently.
